• WHAT KINDS OF RESULTS CAN WE EXPECT FROM YOUR BOOKS?
From THE HAPPINESS FABLES, you can expect happier children who do the right thing. You can expect them to have a better understanding of sound moral values. Because the stories are designed so that children guess “the lesson of the story,” they own these values themselves, because they discovered them.
You can expect having a lot of fun reading to them and discussing the stories with them.
From MZ GOOSE AND HER WONDERFUL RHYMES you can expect the enjoyment of the sounds of words and the fun ways ideas are expressed in rhymes. You can expect a greater appreciation of reading itself and your child wanting to become a good reader. Reading rhymes helps children learn the sound of letters and words, which helps make them better readers.
From THE MZ GOOSE COLOR ME COOKBOOK, you can expect to have fun making meals and snacks with your child. With the drawings and cooking utensils and the definitions of cooking words you can expect them to have more knowledge of cooking. Plus the safety hints, instructions for cleanliness and orderliness, and health recommendations will make them safe and healthier. The Mz Goose Color Me Cookbook makes it fun to try new things, experience new tastes and new dishes.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM A MZ GOOSE PERFORMANCE? If you are lucky enough to go to one, you can expect to see children involved in the performance. Some come up and take part, holding puppets, wearing colorful cardboard masks. Children in the audience are invited to say things and sometimes sing along. Mz Goose comes with a suitcase full of props and puppets. You’ll hear some of her rhymes and some of her Happiness Fables – with props and puppets. You can expect your child to be uplifted, to want to create and be happier.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM INVITING MZ GOOSE TO YOUR CHILD’S BIRTHDAY PARTY? You can expect a performance by Mz Goose and a special rhyme written just for the birthday child. You can expect all of the child’s guests to be happier too as they take part in the show.
WHAT ABOUT PAYMENTS, ARRANGEMENTS AND WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL A PERFORMANCE OR A BIRTHDAY PARTY? All this is arranged by contacting me. (contact box) And of course, if you have to cancel, you can. Please do it 24 hours in advance at least, so I won’t be driving to the performance as I learn it’s not going to be!
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM A MZ GOOSE PODCAST?You can expect your child or children in your car to be uplifted on their way to and from school. You can expect an exciting moment before bed, before breakfast, lunch or snacktime. You can expect your child to want to hear the podcasts again as they will most likely be saying some of the rhymes along with Mz Goose and even singing some songs.
• WHAT DO YOUR FEES INCLUDE? Books are as noted on the website. Podcasts are free. Performances at festivals and events depend greatly on how far I have to travel, how many shows, how many days. Travel expenses and even lodging will be taken into account and all this varies greatly. Birthday parties too depend also on travel even if they are in the Tampa Bay area.
• WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM EVERYONE ELSE?
I’m me. And I’ve created everything I write and everything I perform. My puppets and props are hand made and made from scrap material, like cardboard boxes and egg cartons. Sometimes I’ve done workshops where children create masks like the one I have for Mrs. Rhinoceros. I love to rhyme and create. I love to perform for children, involve them and see their happy faces.
My goal is to uplift children and expand their creativity. We are all much happier when we are creating. We create a happy marriage, a happy home life.
Come and see me and see if I’m different, or if I bring out the “creative you.” That’s what I hope to do.
I write to children. I watch their responses to what I’ve written. I get them to write as well and communicate in my shows. Children are real to me. I’m real to them. I bring out their best. Parents see this as well. And we will have fun doing it!
